§ 10.32.010. Authority to establish loading zones.

A.

..... The City Traffic Engineer is authorized to establish loading zones and passenger loading zones in the following locations:

1.

At any place within a commercial, mixed use or industrial zone;

2.

Anywhere in front of the entrance to any place of business or in front of any hall or place used for the purpose of public assembly;

..... The Traffic Engineer shall determine the time period during which the loading zone shall be exclusively used for the loading and unloading of vehicles. The Traffic Engineer is authorized to erect signs or otherwise establish markings indicating the period during which the loading zone provisions shall be effective.

..... In no event shall more than one-half (½) of the total curb length in any block be reserved for loading zone purposes.
